Chinese President Xi Jinping has met with President of Nepal Bhandari at the presidential palace in Kathmandu
Chinese President Xi Jinping paid a state visit to Nepal on October 12th , 2019.The Nepal project department of AVIC-KDN AIRPORT ENGINEERING CO., LTD. has been specially approved by the Nepal Police Department to be the only Chinese enterprise approved to join the local reception.
At about 4:55 PM local time on October 12, President Xi Jinping's special plane arrived at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport. AVIC-KDN organized more than 200 Chinese, nepalese and property owners to welcome President Xi Jinping and his delegation to Nepal by waving the national flags of China and Nepal in accordance with the established welcome formation on both sides of the only way for President xi jinping to pass by the airport, against the background of business banners.

Local people in Nepal greeted President xi with jubilant cheers.
When interviewed by local media, the interviewed employees said affectionately, "this is the closest time to the chairman in my life. Since April this year, AVIC-KDN began to build the runway and taxiwayrehabilitation project of Nepal's Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport，all the staff of the project department united as one, worked hard and innovated. After six months of non-stop construction, the workload has been exceeded and the project is expected to be completed half a year ahead of schedule.The project has won the 2019 airport project of the year award for best new talent, which is officially hailed as a "landmark international construction project in the history of civil aviation in Nepal".

The early completion of the runway of this project provides a safe and reliable transportation guarantee for President xi's visit to Nepal.And in the first time to show the Chinese enterprises in the "One Belt And One Road" countries along the construction results.At the same time,it’s laying a solid foundation for the good-neighborly friendship and strategic partnership between Chaina and Nepal (“Treat each other as equals, live in harmony, enjoy friendship from generation to generation and conduct comprehensive cooperation.") ,‘neighbourhood policy’s advancement,and the development of the port, highway, railway, aviation, hydropower and other projects.
