In the spring of March, the weather is warm and full of vitality. In response to the national call for afforestation, on the morning of April 26th, a group from the headquarters of AVIC-KDN set off by car to the collective forest farm in Dayushu Town, Yanqing District, 80 kilometers away, to carry out voluntary tree-planting activities.

On-site training for forest farm staff

After some simple preparations, the activity began. First, the staff from the forest farm gave us a brief training, introducing the names, characteristics and suitable areas of the saplings for this event, as well as the steps, standards and requirements for tree planting. Then, everyone was grouped according to the overall tasks and division of labor for the day and entered into a fierce competition of labor. Under the on-site technical guidance of the forest farm staff, everyone was competing with each other, digging and filling soil, planting and nurturing new saplings, and the activity reached its peak.

Throughout the entire event, everyone worked together, assisted each other, and had great enthusiasm. They dug holes, filled the soil, and watered the plants. The faces of every employee were beaming with smiles, and they all demonstrated the passion of laborers. After a period of busy work, a row of new young pine seedlings stood gracefully before everyone, adding new vitality and vigor to nature, and also kindling hopes of greenery.

Through this activity, employees were encouraged to actively participate in ecological construction and greening efforts. It made it clear that caring for greenery and paying attention to environmental protection are no longer just empty slogans. At the same time, it also enabled everyone to have a deeper understanding of voluntary tree planting and afforestation for the benefit of future generations.
