On March 21, 2019, more than 20 people from the Angolan Association of Engineers, the Architects Association and the Angolan National Engineering Laboratory visited the new airport project, accompanied by Liu Dexiang、Deputy General Manager and Deputy Project Commander of the branch, Zhang Qingmin、Duan Haiying of the project section and the project professional engineers.
The institute of engineers, the institute of architects and the national engineering laboratory of Angola began this visit by coming to the exhibition hall of the department directorate, where they watched the video introduction of the project, listened to the introduction of the maquette, and browsed the drawings, etc. Subsequently they visited the main construction site such as the airport runway, the central apron, central substation, VIP Terminal, passenger terminal, SA1 duct etc. to get to know about the construction progress.
The two sides exchanged views on the progress of the new airport project, current difficulties and challenges, and other remaining problems. The coordinators from the two parties showed their willingness to work together to solve the problems and promote the smooth start of the project.
