On July 4th, the football players of AVIC-KDN project department and the representative team from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) gathered on the football field, accompanied by the booming take-off and landing sound of aircrafts. The two team staged a wonderful and fierce football match for the enterprises of both sides in the airport.
Our players were composed of 23 employees from four countries namely Nepal, Sri Lanka, India and China. Although they are not as skillful as professional football players, their rigorous attitude and fighting spirit are worthy of affirmation.
At the beginning of the game, the players were eager and ready to show their abilities, during which they cooperated with each other closely, turning over, passing, attacking and defending. All the players staged an exciting match with their vigorous body and passion, which stirred the audience’s blood boil and drew high praise from the spectators.
The athletes of TIA are more skillful in technique, firmly controlling the rhythm of the game and occupying the dominant position in the competition field. However, our team members were always persevering and calm, constantly defending and counterattacking, maintaining high morale from the beginning to the end. Although the final scoring gap between the two sides was large and our team members failed to turn the tables, the spirit of fighting and never giving up of the athletes deserves applause and cheers from each of us. The final football match came to an end in a friendly atmosphere.
It is reported that this competition was the first competition after the establishment of the TIA project department, football team, which has received positive response and enthusiastic participation from all departments of AVIC-KDN. The successful holding of the football match not only enriched the cultural life of the staff, strengthened the cohesion of the staff, but also promoted the communication and tacit understanding of the staff, showing the positive and courageous spirit of the staff from various countries in the process of vigorously promoting the localization construction.
Football delivers energy. The communication bridge built by the project department in Nepal of AVIC-KDN and as well as by the TIA representative team will surely encourage both sides to seek development in the future cooperation, so as to achieve common promotion and mutual improvement.
The football match was over, but the fighting spirit of both sides on the field will last forever!
