To create a festive atmosphere for the traditional Chinese festivals and enrich the holiday life of the overseas employees, as well as enhance the cohesion and combat effectiveness of the project construction personnel, the Angola Project Command of China Aviation Kaidien Airport Engineering Co., Ltd. held a variety of sports activities and fun games during the Spring Festival holiday. All departments of the command and each subcontractor actively participated.
Basketball Friendship Tournament
The first basketball friendly competition kicked off the celebration activities. At 16:00 - 17:30 on January 15th, the command team and the subcontractor team competed on the basketball court of the apartment complex. Adhering to the principle of "friendship first, competition second", the players on both sides fought bravely on the court, sweating profusely. They made quick passes at times, defended at other times; they moved forward and retreated, slow and fast; they turned and jumped, or made three-step shots. This attracted continuous applause and cheers from the audience. The players on both teams shone brightly in the intense competition, fully demonstrating the teamwork and the spirit of striving and perseverance. After a fierce overtime battle, the command team's representative team eventually won the entire game.
At 7:30 a.m. on January 22nd, the 4-kilometer long-distance running competition began precisely in front of the tower of the project department's landscape avenue. A total of 40 people from the command center and various subcontracting units signed up for this event. The participants ran vigorously along the scenic route of the landscape avenue, which was named "Tower - Air Traffic Control Radar Station - Tower". None of the participants sought to be interpreted by applause or deliberately conquer anything; they merely transformed their hard work into the feet of pursuit. With firm beliefs in their hearts and steady steps on the ground, they used their actions to tell an unchanging truth: There is no road longer than the feet, and there is no mountain higher than a person.

At 8:30 a.m. on January 23rd, the table tennis singles competition was held among 15 enthusiasts from the command center and various sub-units. There were techniques such as forehand, backhand, smash, spin ball, and arc ball. The contestants fully devoted themselves to the competition with great enthusiasm and high energy. The spectators on the sidelines also continuously cheered for them. The entire competition was carried out smoothly in an atmosphere of excitement yet joy.

To enhance the excitement of the competition, the command center also organized various interesting games such as rope skipping,定点 shooting, ring-tossing， and using chopsticks to pick up marbles. The entire event was filled with a lively yet tense atmosphere， captivating yet maintaining a sense of liveliness.
Fun game
During the "Welcome the New Year - Celebrate the New Spring" event, the athletes demonstrated their own abilities and teamwork spirit, showcasing their style and achieving high standards. They achieved a double harvest of spiritual civilization and athletic performance.
The implementation of this activity has greatly enriched the leisure and cultural life of our company's overseas employees, enhanced the team spirit and work enthusiasm of the project participants of the new Luanda International Airport in Angola, and demonstrated the united, hardworking and harmonious spirit of the AVIC-KDN Airport Engineering Co., Ltd. It also enabled everyone to enjoy a relaxing, pleasant and peaceful Spring Festival abroad.
